About Me

Grant Redden was born and raised in southwest Wyoming. He grew up on a sheep and cattle ranch where he found appreciation for the simple beauty of his surroundings. Grant paints what he lives every day. Self-taught, Grant has immersed himself in the study of the masters, both deceased and living, in an ongoing effort to improve his craft. He was inducted into the Cowboy Artists of America in 2012 and has since won 6 gold medals and 2 silver medals for oil painting, a silver for watercolor painting, and has been selected 3 times for Best Body of Work in the annual Cowboy Artists of America show.

Grant has been featured in articles from Western Art and Architecture, Southwest Art, Art of the West, Western Art Collector, and others. Grant lives in Hilliard, Wyoming, with his wife Annette, a dog, some chickens, two old horses, and a pack of coyotes.
